Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh (HCSB)

Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh (HCSB) is a non-political, not-for-profit and wholly dedicated to the welfare of humanity, so far this is the only serviceable government-registered organization named ‘Haffezzi’. Registration Number: S-138796/22 . The famous elder of the subcontinent, Hazrat Muhammadullah Hafezzi Huzur (Rah), who is the founder of this serviceable community first named it as “Hafezzi Huzur Rah: Seba Songstha” established in 2015, which embodies the religious spirit of service holder “Khalak”. It was re-established as Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh in 2018 to obtain government registration. At present, the activities of HCSB are being conducted from the head office located at House No. 57/A of Road No. 06 of Mohammadia Housing Society in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

The institution is a teacher of humanity, an ambassador of human liberation and peace, the ideal of human service, following the footsteps of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW, the service of humanity, social reform, the transmission of great ethical consciousness, the continuous implementation of various programs to form a clean mentality, above all, it is making efforts to build an ideal public welfare society.

Aim:

Achieving almighty’s blessings throughout the service of giving to others who are in dire of need.

Purpose:

• Providing free medical care to disinherited and helpless patients.
• Providing medical services through free medical camps in remote areas including “Bishwa Ijtema.”
• Providing education and training to orphans to make them self-reliant.
• Construction of mosques and madrasas.
• Providing life support in various natural calamities including floods and cyclones.
• Installation of deep tube wells to ensure safe and clean water supply.
• Distribution of quality Iftar to at least 300 people every day during Ramadan.
• Distribution of goods and clothes for Eid-days.
• Distribution of sacrificial meat during Eid-ul-Azha.
• Distribution of cooked food in slums and footpaths.
• Distribution of sewing machines, auto rickshaws and cattles to orphans so that they can be independent and successful.
• Organization of du’ah and Islamic Mahfil.
• Publication of monthly creation services for the purpose of propagating the correct teaching of religion.
• Organization of Ibadah Challenge and Quiz Competition to teach Deen and Amol to mothers and sisters.
• Neo-Muslim service activities.
• Empowerment of Hijra community and women who still lives among the backward lifestyle.
• Providing assistance to minority communities.
• Election monitoring.
• Voluntary blood donation.

Source of funds and income

• One-time and recurring donations from regular members, supporters and well-wishers.
• Money earned from any project of the organization.
• Grants made by the public in a particular sector.
• Zakat, Fitra payable by well-to-do Muslims.
• Amount collected in special sectors including the days of Iftar, Qurbani.

Expenditure Policy:

• Spending is done in the sector for which the donors donate. Money from one sector is not spent on other sectors.
• 100% of the money collected in the Zakat Fund is distributed among the beneficiaries.
• A detailed income-expenditure account is maintained after each project is completed.
• Income-expenditure accounts are audited by a chartered accountant once a year.
• All financial activities of HCSB are monitored by the supervision of a team consisting of accounting experts.
